Our worship begins at 10.30am. Most folk start to arrive around 10.15 or 10.20am giving them time to say hello to friends, pop their donation into the food bank collection and sit and ready themselves to worship the Lord Jesus.

Someone will welcome you at the door and show you into our main hall, you are welcome to sit anywhere you like. Most weeks our children and young people start their mornings in the main hall joining the whole church family for the first part of the morning.

You might see a variety of folk ‘upfront’ during worship. One person leads our time together, helping us to focus our minds on why we’re there, introducing the songs and leading us in prayer. Others will read the Bible, explain it to the children and young people, preach (teach from the Bible passage and help us consider what God is saying to us through it) or lead prayers. After 20-25 minutes the children and young people will leave the main hall and go to one of our smaller rooms for time together. A team of leaders will help them explore a Bible story or theme and have fun together as they think about what it teaches them.

Our services normally last between 60-75 minutes before a closing prayer. It’s then time for a cuppa and biscuits giving us all time to chat and share the ups and downs of life with each other.

Mostly we sit in rows facing the front but occasionally, usually when the children and young people are staying in the main hall for the whole morning, we sit round tables. On these occasions our time together is a little more interactive, perhaps with a craft or a quiz.

If you’re still unsure about what to expect, why not watch a service online. You can watch live or catch up through the week. You’ll find them on Facebook and YouTube and watching will give you a good idea of what to expect during our worship time.
