This is a relaxed group with lots of fun for the children and chat and friendship for the grown-ups!
There is a variety of toys for the children to enjoy each week ranging from chutes, tunnels, ball pool and trampoline to dressing up and a pretend kitchen, to a garage, farm and dolls house. The baby area is popular with our littlest members and provides safe and appropriate toys for the babies. A craft time allows the toddlers to explore their creative side – the messier the better!
Snack time involves fruit and juice for the children and a less healthy option for the grown-ups.
Each week finishes with a circle time where we discover “what’s in the box” and sing songs and listen to stories. The children are encouraged to take part using instruments, streamers, parachute games and more!
We have special events throughout the year such as our Christmas Party and Summer outing.
Although Under Fives is a church group we would like to emphasise that everyone is welcome. You do not need to be a Christian or Church member to attend. There will be some Christian content to our activities – mainly in the form of songs and craft.
It would be great to see you – come along and make new friendships and enjoy having the chance for a chat with other parents, grandparents and carers.
