Sheltered Housing
There are several sheltered housing complexes in our area. Its important to us that we make sure that all who live in our area able to connect with our church family. We regularly take services in Hamewith and Denmore sheltered housing complexes and welcome anyone who wants to join us for worship there.
Services at Hamewith are on the 1st Sunday of every month at 12pm and services at Denmore Court are every 2nd Sunday at 3.30pm.
We hold 2 afternoon communions at the church per year, at 3.30pm on the last Sunday in May and August. Everyone is welcome to come to these services but they are primarily for the elderly and infirm who find it difficult to stay for a normal length service. These services last 30 min and we always have a cup of tea at the end. Although short these services are enjoyed by those who come and so is the fellowship afterwards. We have volunteers who transport people to and from the church.
