Chaplaincies offer us an important opportunity to share the Good News about Jesus with many people in our community. We are responsible for the chaplaincies in 4 of our local schools, and we have very friendly relationships with the school staff in Bridge of Don.
Each week members of the church staff lead school assemblies in our schools, telling Bible stories, singing songs and illuminating important life qualities and moral values with insights from scripture. It is precious work, and we value your prayer for it.
Our minister is a part-time prison chaplain in Her Majesty’s Prison, Aberdeen. Here there are great opportunities to speak about the forgiveness that Jesus offers and to invite prisoners to receive him. This ministry is carried out in a team of prison chaplains with invaluable support from Prison Fellowship (http://www.prisonfellowship.org.uk/).
We very much value your prayer for these chaplaincies.
